Aneesah Rashawn is a multidisciplinary content producer, photographer, and filmmaker from Oakland, California. Her work documents the spectrum of human experiences. Rooted in an eye for the intimate, Aneesah brings creative direction to every project. She currently serves as a Director and Producer with Wildflower Film & Media, where she creates stories exploring identity, mental health, joy, rage, and inner/outer conflict. Her special projects include Be For Reel, an interview series featuring emerging and established filmmakers; Portraits of Joy, a short documentary offering a closer look into the creators of the Black Joy Parade; Lovers of Home, a portrait study of the Diouf family; and Make It Home Safe, a visual exploration of the lived experiences of Black femmes. She is currently exploring Black female rage and the reclamation of power with Sunder, a short thriller coming soon.
